Pugile is an italian electroacoustic trio which metaphorically translates its musical research into a fight for personal improvement. They sing in a language made out of mediterraean dialects, as a symbol of universal dialogue between cultures: a language which aims to speak to heart, not to logic. According to these concepts, Icarian, the latest album, was written for every Icarus of our times, educated to individualism, struggling to revalue their life path. For each one of those wax heroes, malleable professionals and life companions with no base, who understood or are understanding that we’re all blinded by sun and ego. Icarian is a narrative about simple stories (love, work, health, wishes…) under the perspective of the modern society.
